Phil's Biography Phil was born in 1974 and was raised in East Meadow, NY.  If you knew Phil, we can guarantee you were impressed by his maturity, his drive, and his easy way.  Phil was married for 7 years to Christina and together they had a son, Nicholas and a daughter, Olivia. Phil taught High School History.  He put himself though Undergraduate and Graduate School, got married, and had his first child – all while working full-time, coaching lacrosse and being a husband and father. What would surprise you about Phil, though, is that he was diagnosed with colon cancer at age 30.  After being treated with Chemotherapy and Radiation, we were all hopeful that this great guy had beaten the odds.  Our hopes were crushed when we learned that Phil’s cancer was back.  It was an aggressive cancer.  The cancer did not care that Phil was 32 years old, with a wife, 3-year old son, and newborn daughter.
